Anna snuck into my room at 12am. She wanted to know if she could see if Santa came....he had...she as thrilled......and I sent her back to bed! 1am....here comes Elizabeth...same story. Justin was up at 3 am, but wasn't really worried about Santa, lol. The girls woke up again at 6:30 and we all got up. They were so excited! New webkins and littlest pet shop toys, barbies and movies, clothes and bibles! But the very best, most exciting thing was THE BIKES! They haven't had new ones since their tri-circles. They were on them, falling over, and getting back on. I was great. Ellery bought me Photo shop Elements for Christmas. Does he know me or what. It was better than any jewelry could have been! Rachel brought Serena over around 11am because we she has to go to her daddy's house. Serena wasn't even interested in opening her gift she wanted to play with Justin's stuff! Mom and family came over around lunch and man what a lunch. I LOVE holiday food. The rest of the family came in the evening. Another Christmas come and gone :(

Christmas eve.......here we go!

The day started out with the cleaning of the bedroom! An annual tradition in our house because, as everyone knows, Santa doesn't leve gifts for kids with messy rooms. Gotta love that Santa. Then we moved on to the fun stuff. After Justin was laid down for a nap we pulled out the chocolate dip and soaked peanut butter ritz crackers. A papaw favorite. Then we rolled out sugar cookies. After cutting out way too many we covered those in chocolate too! Then we headed off to Nana's house. The girls (yes even the big girls) made their gingerbread (graham cracker) houses. Also an annual tradition. Caitlin always has the most stylish house with Michelle a very very close second. The girls are pretty much free spirits when it comes to their house desighns. Then it was time to open the gifts! New sleep clothes and robes for the girls a pony and hammer for Justin. Plus much more! Then we headed for home because santa was in Africa and was heading this way. WE got home, got the cookies out, and checked for santa again. He was in South America so off to bed they went................

Christmas pictures

I am still taking pictures and its going wonderful! I actually had 3 session lined up for last weekend....and then the transmission went out on Ellery's truck! They are all my friends and will let me use them again at a later date! The transmission is fixed...YAY....so I have my car back. Today was a rainy day so I decided to take some Christmas pictures of my kids! They are in front of our tree. The good news is my kids are very tolerant of mommy and her constant picture taking. The first picture is at the mall with Santa. I was very much surprised that my fearless son did not like Santa. I told the woman to snap this shot. She thought I was crazy, but sure enough he was crying in everything else she got! After it was said and done the photographer looked at me and said "that was a good idea". So I am looking for Santa volunteers for next year! I could do this! Maybe I can talk Ellery into it........

The lady cut Anna off a little....but it's till cute!
My babies

This is the BEST Christmas book.
